How to Add New Locations to the Weather App
Here are the steps to add new places to the iPhone’s Weather app:
Inside the Apple Weather app, tap the bullet list icon at the bottom-right. Tap the search bar. Type the initials of the desired city or town and choose it from the suggestions that appear. Tap Add from the top-right corner. You can now tap that location from the list to see the weather there.
Once you add the locations, you can also get live weather alerts for different places.
How to Rearrange or Delete Locations in the Weather App
After adding multiple places to the Weather app, you can easily change their position in the list to move the most useful ones before the rest. This will ensure you have to swipe less to see your preferred places. And if you no longer need to get weather reports for a city, you can remove it to declutter the list.
Here’s how to change the order of the locations or delete them from the iPhone Weather app:
Open the Weather app and tap the bullet list icon from the bottom-right to see all your added cities. Touch and hold an added location and move it up or down. You can’t move a location above My Location. To remove a location from the list, swipe left on its name and tap the trash icon.
