Add Funds to Your PayPal Balance
While you can navigate this on the PayPal mobile app, it’s an easier process to go to PayPal’s website on a PC or Mac.
Go to PayPal in a browser and select Sign In in the upper right corner of the screen. You are taken to your PayPal summary page, displaying your current PayPal balance, recent transactions, linked bank accounts, and more. Select Link a card or bank on the lower right side of the summary screen if you don’t already have a bank account linked. Select Link a bank account in the screen that opens. You can link a credit or debit card to use as a payment option, but you can’t transfer funds from a card to PayPal. PayPal will show you the logos of popular banks. Select the one for your bank. If it’s not on the list, select I have a different bank. PayPal displays a form to sign in to your bank using the same login information you use to sign in to your online banking dashboard. Enter your bank credentials and select Link Bank Instantly. If your bank wasn’t on the list or you don’t have online banking set up, select Enter account number manually instead to set up your bank manually. This process takes a few days to process. Return to your PayPal summary page and select Transfer Money. Select Add money to your balance. Select the bank account you want to transfer from. Enter an amount to transfer and select Add.
A transfer to your PayPal balance from your bank account is initiated. It takes about two days to complete.
